The Lucid Dream Cycle album by Brainwave Binaural Systems has 90 minutes of drone-like sounds embedded with Theta, Alpha and Beta Isochronic Tones. It was designed to help you have lucid dreams by mimicking our sleep cycle. The album need to be listen in loop and each repetition corresponds to one sleep cycle. The idea is to bring the listener to a Beta state during the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, which will help the user to awaken lightly and realize that he is dreaming.

A drone is a kind of sound where a note or chord is continuously sounded throughout most or all of a piece. It's continuous and sometime monotonous characteristic is great to keep you relaxed and focused without the distractions that music can cause. The Beta brainwave state is associated with a heightened state of alertness and focused concentration. So individuals in this state are awake and alert. This is generally the mental state most people are in during the day. Stimulating Beta activity can improve our emotional stability, energy levels, attentiveness and concentration.

This album uses a dual brainwave technology: two slightly different frequencies are sent to each ear. Stereo headphones are required.
