The Liquidscapes album by Brainwave Binaural Systems has a set of four drone-like tracks together with liquid sounds like rain, water bubbles, streaming water and humid winds. The first two tracks are embedded with Alpha brainwave pulses and the last two tracks are embedded with Theta brainwave pulses. Listen to the first track for a light relaxation or the entire album for a more deep and meditative experience. A drone is a kind of sound where a note or chord is continuously sounded throughout most or all of a piece. It's continuous and sometime monotonous characteristic is great to keep you relaxed and focused without the distractions that music can cause.

Alpha brainwaves represent a state of relaxed mental awareness. You are in this mental state early in the morning, when your mind and body are relaxed or while daydreaming. Most people experience this state just after waking and right before sleep. Theta Waves have been associated with states of enhanced creativity, learning, deep relaxation, daydreaming and sleep. Theta is also known as a highly suggestible state, where affirmations and hypnosis are most effective.
